Since 3 years now, the partnership signed between Evian and the AJGA (American Junior Golf Association) strengthens the Evian Championship's sporting policy in favor of young players.
The Evian U18, created in 2017 for under 18s, the third edition took place in Evian from 18th to 20th October, once again enabled the formation of Team Evian, comprising the event’s top 8 players.
The top young players will have the chance to compete over 2 days in front of the leading US college coaches.
In the boys’ category, Maxence Mugnier and Clément Poletti, respectively 52nd and 26th on the Amateur Order of Merit, winner and runner-up of the Evian U18 2019 edition took a flight straight to the United States to compete the American tournament.
Also in this selection: Oihan Guillamoundeguy, Augustin Valéry, Hugo Mongalvy and Jules Bondil.
In the girls’ category, Eléonore Hubert and Lisa-Marie Pagliano will tee off on Friday the 6th for the first round beside 76 other young and talented golfers.
These young golfers could well follow in the footsteps of Pauline Roussin-Bouchard, the ideal ambassador for The Evian Championship Galaxy, who competed in the 3 youth events, or Lucie Malchirand (Evian Juniors Cup 2016 and 2017), who was selected for Las Vegas at the Evian U18 2018.
