CONDITIONS GENERALES DE VENTE BILLETTERIE THE EVIAN CHAMPIONSHIP 2020
You are using the ticketing service of The Evian Championship, one of women’s golf majors that will take place from Thursday 23 to Sunday 26 July 2020 at the Evian Resort Golf Club in Evian-les-Bains, France (hereafter referred to as the “Event“). This service gives you the possibility to purchase your tickets for the Event online (hereafter referred to as the “Tickets”) on the www.evianchampionship.com website (hereafter referred to as the “Website”).
The Event is organized by Evian Resort SA, share capital of 1,857,490.00 Euros, head office Quai Baron de Blonay 74500 Evian-les-Bains, France, Trade & Companies register of Thonon-les-Bains number 795 780 113 (hereafter referred to as the “Organizer”).
The General Terms & Conditions for online sales exclusively govern all relations between the Organizer (via its service provider Secutix) and its customers, users of the Website who wish to purchase Tickets (hereafter referred to as “Customers”).
Article 1 - USE OF THE CENTRAL BOOKING SYSTEM
The Customer acknowledges that placing an order implies full and unconditional acceptance of the General Terms & Conditions, the specific conditions associated with their Ticket order (description, price indicated in Euros (all taxes included), the specific nature of the proposed event, restrictions), the Spectators’ Charter relating to the Evian Championship 2020 available from the ticket office located at the entrance to the Event, as well as any other rules and regulations brought to the attention of the Customer at the venue of the Event.
Article 2 - TICKET AVAILABILITY
When a Customer places an order, they receive real-time information about the availability of places. If the places proposed to the Customer do not suit their requirements, they can cancel the order relating to these places.
The total number of places that can be reserved is limited to thirty (30) per person.
A summary of the proposed places appears on the order summary shown on the screen. The order is not final and does constitute proof of a confirmed booking until the Customer has paid for their places.
In accordance with provisions in Article L. 121-20-4 of the French consumer code, no right of withdrawal applies for Tickets ordered and for which payment has been received.
Article 3 - PRICES
The price invoiced to the Customer is the price indicated on the booking summary displayed by the Organizer on the Website.
3.1 Preferential prices
French Golf Federation Members benefit from special preferential rates, subject to use of the promotional code provided by the French Golf Federation when booking Tickets.
3.2 On site (from 20 to 26 July 2020)
From Monday 20 through to Sunday 26 July 2020, the prices shown are the full sale prices that correspond to the prices charged on-site.
French and Swiss Golf Federation members continue to benefit from preferential prices online as set out in Article 3.1.
To take advantage of these prices on-site, French and Swiss Golf Federation members must show their golf licence when making their purchase. The preferential price cannot be granted unless the licence is shown.

Article 4 - PAYMENT AND BOOKING CONFIRMATION
Payment can only be made by credit card. The list of accepted credit cards is provided on the Website. The Website provides a secure payment system. Additional information on this subject is available by clicking on the “Security” link on the Website below.
Following payment, the Organizer, through Secutix, confirms the booking of the Tickets by email and encloses an E-ticket to be printed at home that enables the Customer access to the Event on the chosen date.
The Ticket must be printed in portrait mode on a white A4 piece of paper, blank on the front and back. Tickets that are partially printed, dirty, damaged or illegible shall not be considered valid.
Security: To avoid any fraudulent use, a security system is in place which uses a unique barcode for each Ticket. Ticket validity is checked and recorded at the entrance to the Event using a barcode scanner. Only the first person to present the Ticket will be admitted to attend the Event. This person is presumed to be the legitimate Ticket holder. It is therefore impossible to be admitted several times with the same Ticket. The copying of Tickets is forbidden and will be of no use to you.
The Organizer accepts no liability for malfunctions that may arise during the ordering process, the processing or printing of the self-print Ticket in so far as it did not cause them intentionally or through negligence, nor for the loss, theft or unlawful use of the self-print Ticket.
The Organizer shall not be held liable should a Customer be unable to access the Website due to a technical fault or any other problem, notably internet network congestion, a virus, computer bug or failure of receiving equipment, telephone lines, internet network, interruptions or delays in data transmission.
Article 5 - CANCELLATION / TICKET EXCHANGE
A Ticket cannot be refunded or resold under any circumstances.
Should the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) decide to cancel or postpone a round on the Thursday, Friday or Saturday, the Customer can transfer the Ticket to their chosen day of the current tournament. Should the Sunday round be postponed until the Monday, the Ticket valid on the Sunday becomes valid for the Monday. Should the Sunday round be cancelled and not postponed until the Monday, the Ticket valid for the Sunday becomes valid for one round of the 2 edition of the Event, the round of the Customer's choice.

Article 7 - PERSONAL INFORMATION
In accordance with the Information Technology and Freedoms Act of 6 January 1978 in its latest version in force, information that is collected is intended for the Evian Resort in its role as data controller.
The personal information that you provide is only used to enable us to correctly process your Ticket purchase.
In accordance with the Information Technology and Freedoms Act of 6 January 1978 in its latest version in force, you have, at any time, a right to access, rectify, modify, erase or object to, on legitimate grounds, the personal information that you have provided on the Website. ARTICLE 8 – COOKIES
These parameters are generally found in the “options” or “preferences” menu of your browser. However, you may notice that some aspects of the Website stop working or work less well if you do this.
Article 9 - EXTERNAL LINKS
The Website may provide access to partner websites via hypertext links or by embedding content from partner websites into our Website.
Despite the care taken when choosing external websites, the Organizer shall not be held liable for this content, its legality and how it operates and shall not be liable for the use that may be made of it by webusers.
It is forbidden to create hypertext links with the Website without prior written authorization from the Organizer.
Article 10 - GOVERNING LAW - COMPETENT JURISDICTION
The General Terms & Conditions are subject to French law.
Any dispute relating to their enforceability, validity, interpretation and/or performance, and more broadly, any dispute relating to the sale of Tickets shall be subject to the competent jurisdiction in the district of the Appeal Court in Paris.
